First off, Happy Thanksgiving to you, if you celebrate, and happy day to you if you don’t!

The holidays can be such a tricky (read: emotional and obligation-filled) time for many people. It is the time that what we desire to have and create in the world can get pushed out by other people’s needs, wants, and desires.

Uh, how much fun is that? Not so much!

And yet, it is highly encouraged by this society, and the current systems.

All of this to have a “perfect” holiday, with your “perfect” families, and while you are at it, your business is supposed to bring in the “perfect” amount of money, all while you feast and rest.

How much pressure is that? Whoa, Nelly! That’s a lot.

So on this day of Thanks, and each day forward as we slip into the holiday season, let’s take a moment to be grateful for the life you have created right now. In all of it’s imperfection.

If you have created a life that you enjoy, even if it doesn’t look great on Instagram — I praise you!

If your traditions are whack-a-doodle and it seems like no one would get it. Yeah! Go you!

If you have a totally traditional life, that looks great from the outside, and yet you feel like something is missing — I’ve got you.

Today is the day to acknowledge that there is something more available for you. Something that is beyond what other’s deem as valuable, and into what YOU know is totally invaluable and irreplaceable. — That’s YOU, my friend, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE].

As I write this, my son is cooking all the side dishes, while we have a Tool Sing-along, and I drink some weird drink concoction of Dr. Pepper with mini marshmallows. All of this after a deeply personal, emotional coaching session I had with my friend and coach, Charis Lynn (check her out!).

And after we eat, I will continue my planning my upcoming courses, and prep for my Bars class on Sunday in San Diego. Care to join me at my next Bars class? Check it out here. I’ve got something cooking for those of you looking to end the year with a bang and not a whimper, so stay tuned.

Yes, my Thanksgiving doesn’t look like anyone else’s, and YAY!! It couldn’t be more perfect.

I’m so grateful that you are in my life, no matter how long you have been in my field.

You are such a gift, and the world needs your imperfect, invaluable being in the world NOW.

Sending you so much love,

Jaime Lyerly
